Serbo-Croatian language has three dialects: Shto-dialect, Kaj-dialect
and Ca-dialect (Sto, Kaj and Ca being three forms
of the interrogative pronoun "WHAT"). In the Shto-dialect itself there
are three variants: Ekavski, Ijekavski and Ikavski.
Both Ekavski and Ijekavski are used in literature. The people of western and
south-western parts are called Ijekavci because they use IJE (MLIJEKO). IJE
is common for the people living in Croatia.
